PR+ sites?

    How relevant is the pr's of a site in making it to the first page of google?..

    I thinks PR is not that important to make to the first page. Quality of links is the main thing..

    Sites with higher pr get crawled more often by google, but the
    site with the highest pr does not always appear in the #1 in google.
