Well, everyone has been reassuring me that it is going to be fine. It's just that the datacentre is screwed up. Hopefully all will balance out soon :D

A PR update? I thought the next cycle starts in April.

The recent PR change only a canonicalize update

Matt Cutts blog reads: It’s almost not worth mentioning, but I know one website noticed this, so I’ll talk about it. Last week there was an update to how we canonicalize a small number of urls.

Pretty much, Google was optimizing results for sites that use www or no www. A www. url and a non www.url could possibly show different data, and can be confusing to search engines.

Google was automatically attempting to determine the correct address for your pages and reassigning page rank based on that.

If you recently redirected all domain traffic to a www, you may have noticed a PR update, but sites that steadily use a fixed URL show no update.

We will have to wait to the next update
