If the homepage gains PR, then that does not guarantee that other sub-domains/pages will also get PR. [Normally, PR from one page does flow to other internal/external links.]
PR is individually given to a Page and not for the whole site. Homepage is one page, so as the subpages.
If a domain gets a PR, most of the time the subdomain gets the same or similar PR also but not all the time...
no ..................domain and subdomain both are separate website............................or you can say web pages...........so page rank of both will not be same...........or google will give you pr for both if you have quality back links for both.........domain and subdomain
no the domain and the subdomain are different webpagse and they have to fight differently to get their own pr....
a domain does NOT get PR a PAGE gets page rank. a sub domain is a separate site that may or may not be under the control of the main site ... like many of the free web hosting sites etc. A sub domain, and its pages, will get PR depending on what back links it has same as any other page on the internet. blogger blogs are all sub domains of blogger but NOT all have pagerank on their pages
