I think most people use the toolbar. I recommend SearchStatus 1.7 for Firefox and have it placed at the top over the tabs.

You need to know that PR is often overvalued. Most beginners only think about PR but you need to know that PR is only a measurement of the links to the site which Google are using. If your site is a directory or selling text links then, yes, it's quite important but otherwise no. What is much more important is the quality of the site for the visitors, position in the SERPs, uniqueness of site etc. etc.

I really like Search Status too. Of course, I also have the Google Toolbar for Firefox as a backup. :)

    Me to :)

What is especially good with SearchStatus is the Alexa bar next to the PR bar and with one click checking indexed pages or backlinks in G, Y and MSN with one click (opens in 3 tabs at once).

Very true. I just finished making a Firefox extension that fills the web forms for me. It is my favorite extension now. :)

I wouldn't have made it if it wasn't better than what was already out there. :)

thats the main reason why I posted this, I know of many sites to check this, and usually when I check a site/domain its lower then what people say it is.... so I wanted to maybe see where/what people use in general to maybe be able to see what there seeing
