PR or Traffic

Traffic is important as traffic brings results

But of course a site needs to watch the PR as others do in-accurate as it seems to be of late

But in the overall picture both traffic and PR count

 

The conclusion should be,

Though both PR and Traffic are good for a site, targetted Traffic is more important than PR.

 

IMO if you will give priority to traffic and PR, give more to traffic.
An increase in a well targeted traffic will give you an increase in revenue, or more sign ups etc.

 

I think the best think is targetted traffic but on otherwise PR is an economic value for link sales .

 

You get traffic from search results. Google combine PR and your site content analyze for show results to surfers. So , both are importants.We need good PR for better SERPs results .

 

No competition. A person would rather have 2,000 daily uniques to a site than a PR 6/7 site that gets 100 uniques, if thats possible. People try to increase their PR in the hope of boosting their traffic.

 

I'll take traffic over PR any day of the week.

 

Check SERPs and you will forget about your theory. There are plenty of pages without PR or with low PR in SERPs. Of course it matters, but it is not a decisive factor any more.

 

I can give many examples that show this is not true. In one case I have a real estate website with pr1, but it is on page 1 of SERPS for competitive keywords ahead of high pr competitors and it gets lots of google traffic.

 

At first, traffic, because every hit in your website gives you revenue, if im not mistaken, but if you consider selling your site, you must attain high PR.

 

For be its traffic since the more traffic you get the more visotrs some PR websites have like 0 vistors and you dont get any rev from ads

 

I will go for traffic first...PR will come later.

Get out of the habit of thinking you are discussing actual/live/real PageRank - PR . These discussions are about the TBPR. There is a significant difference between the 2. Correcting this will establish in your mind that there is a difference and hopefully start to clear the clouds away.

TRUE PageRank is certainly important. We are not getting/discussing that. We are talking about watered down, infrequently updated ToolBar PageRank

Not traffic, but quality Targeted Traffic that is really the most important.

 

What is the meaning of "Traffic" as you mension? As I understood, I think both of its should be well together.
