Does PR has anything to do with clicks? Does higher PR make more money per click from Google? I'd rather have a PR 5 site with zero traffic. It takes time and money to get to PR 5, but not as much time and money to bring in traffic if you have PR 5 already. My free classified ads site http://www.jihoy.com is PR 3, just putting on Adsense, I'd kill for a PR 5 rating right now.

 

Traffic is more important to me w.r.t PR.

Good traffic brings with it lots of monetizing opportunities, while good PR just signifies that your site would be readily visible for searching people.

Good traffic would eventually ensure that you will have good PR too...

TRAFFIC TRAFFIC and TRAFFIC! PR is useless if your site doesn't receive any visitors. There's a high percentage for traffic to be converted into sales and leads. So continue to boost up the number of your visitors. Don't worry much about your page rank.

Depends on the niche and monetization strategy. A PR5 site can make you more money by selling links than what 1000 uniques a day will bring you through adsense.

In most cases, traffic and re-visitor, is the most important while 2nd goes to PR. Some website are having PR0~PR1, traffic are around 1k above per day, while some PR4~PR5 are having 20~100 per day, some even 0~1. But of course this also have to consider about niche on your web, if you have high PR, with no visitors, no niche, nothing will be good.

 

I say traffic for long term, PR in short term.

If you have a high pagerank site with little traffic....sell it for huge profit.

If you have a ton of traffic, but low PR...who cares? you're making money from the ads

 

from the point of revenue, i think the 1000 vistors website will birng you more revenue
