Agree traffic + conversion , what's PR ? a 10 % conversion rate especially for a more standard and larger number of visitors is quite good imho; and certainly on the high side of the range based on what i have seen
From the revenue point of view, it is always the traffic that matters and nothing else. There is no use having a PR10 blog/site and negligible visitors on it.
No doubt, traffic is most important. And PR is like "Cherry on a Pie". if you are into Site flipping, blog posts sells, Link sells etc than PR is important as well.
It depends. Pagerank - good for selling links, ... Traffic - good for selling banners, ... I want both of them lol
It depends from the purpose of your blog and the type of visitors comming Actually if you are selling links from blog with PR5 and almost no traffic, you will get also good money (up to 50 USD/monthly) You cannot sell links with PR0 Other option is to have large number of uv daily and get money from some advertising program
Personally I think traffic is much more important but it all depends on the niche of the sites and how you plan on making money with them.
Traffic over PR because that traffic can be converted into revenue through affiliate sales or advertising revenue. I personally believe having the traffic is the most important thing.
If you use the high PR site to outbound link to a relevant site... then you've got a high likelihood that the connected site will blossom in google. BUT... BUT BUT... that means that your original PR5 site should already get tons of traffic. If it doesn't you're niche is too small. So a PR of 5 under "under water knitting" is really worthless
I guess both have their own roles to play with. Traffic is to leverage yourself (in term of self-confident and revenue) while PR is to let other respect for your achievement. Well, I still love those who said Traffic matter the most. yep, I agree with tat if you don't givin' any BS on others opinions on your site and want to earn money like a assassin killing their target (silently). But PR helps you get seen by those PR hunter merchant or advertisers. You might get good amount of payment with high PR but I suggest you not to sell your ads space based on your PR. 100% will be banned by Google.
I'd take traffic over PR any day of the week. Ironically, I have a site that's a PR0 and it makes more money than any of my other sites. PR does have it's value, but the traffic is where the real money is at.
Traffic has the ability to provide more organic revenue. PR can "if used correctly" assist in traffic flow. Start with traffic and build PR slowly.
