PR or TRAFFIC..which one more important??

    HI, i have one blog which has PR 5 and one blog which has 1000 visitors so which one would be good from the point of revenue??

    Well traffic of course. I'd rather have a PR 0 site wtith 1000 daily visitors than a PR 6 site with none. However, if we start talking PR 7 or higher, I guess I could sell links that would generate considerable revenue. But PR fluctuates all the time. Traffic is what it is all about.

    i wonder how site with no traffic can get PR10 . :rolleyes:

    anyway, i'll choose the one with the traffic, of course. PR is just some kind of accessories for me :D

    Depends what you're planning to do with it. If your looking to sell links PR is more important, otherwise traffic is most important.

    I think adsense would be your best bet for income providing it isnt a low paying niche.

    As said above it depends on what you are going to do with it but the only reason you want PR is to rank high in the SE's to get traffic so it's pretty self-explanitory unless you plan to sell links etc

    Traffic is most important. My site has PR0 for more then 1 year and traffic is 3000+ UV's daily and revenue is good as well. So I am happy with traffic.

    If you want to sell links then PR is important and if you want to earn from ads then traffic is important.

    Depends on the conversion rate. You can have 100 visitors for your PR5 blog but 10 people will convert and generate money for you. This, in my opinion, is not bad :)

    Depends on what you are doing. If you are selling links then PR will be important to you. If you are selling products then rankings and traffic are much more relevant.
