PR on toolbar jumping up and down like a madman

    Hello all,

    The PR shown on the Google toolbar for my site is acting weird. For some pages it stays a nice stable PR3 or PR5 or whatever, all the time. But for some newer pages it shows PR5 or PR4 on somedays and PR0 on other days. I've tried two computers at two different IP addresses, and I get the same. Is something funny happening?

    And yes, I know, PR isn't everything, but I do like to see PR5 as it makes me feel I've done something right!

    It's happening because Google's servers don't instantly share updates, it has to propogate.

    yep..it happens normally...google has lots of data centers, and you PR can change for diffrent data centers...and your toolbar can reflect it!

    Some DC's haven't finished the PR update yet.Probably sometimes your toolbar grabs those DCs' date.

    Ah, thanks for the help. So it does indicate that my pages have a healthy PR, but not all Google servers are showing it yet. Great, I'm happy!

    google has not finished their page rank update. one time you see page from an old dc , one time you page from new dc

    Actually some ip blocks have not yet updated PR :)
