    Hey guys,

I've been wondering that almost all my websites does not seem to increase in PR for the inner pages. Are there some steps I can take to ensure a better chance of PR in the inner pages?

    Thanks again,
    Ed

Did you get it on toolbarPR or just on some DCs at current (todays) PR Update?

I think it depends on the kind of site you have. If your site is fairly traditional in the sense that you have a home page that acts as your primary entry point and then internal pages that have links off the home page, the best you can do for the internal pages is -1 PR down from the home page PR. At least, this has been my experience with a number of such sites.

I could understand, however, if there were internal pages that were getting external links to them from high-PR sites, those pages could easily exceed PR of the home page.

I think if you have some good high PR links that point to some interior pages of your site, it will help raise the ranking and PR of those pages.

So you're suggesting to get some off site links to point to some inner pages?

Ensure that you have text links to all of the pages on your website on all of the pages of your website the PR will just spread from your home page to the entire site.

You need to spend more time on your internal links. It is the easiest way to boost the PR of your inner pages. You need to link to your pages from within the content of other pages not just from the main navigation that is present on all pages.

deep link from your homepage.. I think that is what it is called. Make sure there are links to your inner pages from your homepage.. You will definitely get PR on the next update. I have higher PR on many of my inner pages than I do on my homepage! I've noticed other people with the same issue.
