I was able to reach a PR3 in 2 months. I think if you know what your doing and you get a few authority sites in your niche to link to you then yes this is really possible!
I got PR4 from PR0, site was indexed for like about 2 years but just started link building but not that much kind of shocked how high it jumped, is it more difficult for website to reach PR6-PR7 once reaches PR4?
This type of case used to happen whenever Google update PR, I think there is something fishing about the site.
If some of your backlinks loses their PR or the owner decides to remove your link then that's very possible. It's also possible to lose ALL of your PR if you get greedy and buy 1 or 2 high PR backlinks to try to speed up the process. Lots of people have done this and often get caught.
PR has absolutely nothing to do with content or the quality of your website. It has to do with "backlinks". There are some really really crappy websites on the internet with a PR7 or 8 that aren't even worth looking at. I've seen websites with high PR that are simply a blank page with 1 or 2 words.
and Toolbar PR on new sites is wholly unreliable, Ive seen countless sites that dont justify it go to 4's and 5's and then correct to 1's or 2's over the next few months. just dont bank on it staying and you shouldnt end up too disappointed.
Are you talking about websites that are hacked to show a fake PR on their toolbar? That's one thing you should always look out for.
nope, just total Google randomness, erroneous high readings that then fluctuate and / or change in time.
