PR non-zero, yet site not indexed

    Hi,

I have a site that has gathered quite a few backlinks, and is now showing a PR of 2 in various pagerank tools. Yet a "site:domain.com" search returns zero pages in Google. The site is fairly new (about 4 months) so I'm thinking this may be due to sandboxing (if I understand correctly).

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

    Thanks,
    Dan

Can you tell us the domain in question ? That could help for a bit of analysis.

    Regards

Sorry, I am very new at this and can't really help with your question, but I had a quick look at the site out of curiosity.

You don't seem to have any meta description or meta tags............at all. I guess that will not be helping things.

Try signing up for a Google Sitemap. Make sure that your site is crawlable first tho.

I have a few sites that they do not show up time to time in google. Sometimes google is redoing rank or updateing site.

4 months and rank of 2 was site ever in google. Did you use bad link partners. If site was in google before wait for it to come back. If not it might be getting listed.

If i have good links from sites with good rank most sites will be listed in google under 2 months and alot of times few weeks. I have seen yahoo pick up new site i made in 5 days. Depends on sites that link to it.

I have stopped adding sites to google i let them find my links they seem to add it faster.

Meta tags and keywords will help alot. Did not read post about them and took a look at your site after.

Google does list some sites with no meta tags but they also have alot more on page than your site. Not alot for google to pick up. Maybe make page with description of tool and keywords. Teel people about it write article on it for first page. Then have tool on another page not main page.
