Hi, This is another one of my questions. I manage two boards that ranked at PR6 and PR7 respectively, but a couple of days ago when I checked they were PR4 on yahoo and PR N/A. At first I thought this was an error and rechecked it, but received the same answers. I understand PR moving up and down the list but what does N/A mean? The board is not a very old one and is not banned by Google. So why is this so? Please help. Thanks.
Its probably some sort of glitch if it has never been penalised before, you need to wait a couple of days to be sure.
This makes no sense at all. PageRank is part of google's algo, not Yahoo's. No site can have PR on Yahoo.
could be a simple toolbar issue as google didnt update PR in the last couple of days. see how it is now....
I agree with magda. PR is a Google page "recognition" factor. It is used as sort of a "decoration", therefore do not give it much more thought. PR does not guarantee traffic, visitors or conversions. You should focus your attention on placing well in SERPS. Besides, PR is something that gets updated every three months. And if I am not mistaken we should be knowing about a new update sometime at the end of this month.
PR is much the importance by others right, what they care more on serp and that what brings them ROI.
