I believe so.... as no tools can give the perfect/exact data...

That is a term given by a FISH (Called Rand FISHKIN of SEOMOZ) -- I also believe Matt Cutts of Google is in the Virtual World created by Rand....... (no doubt you must be an SEOMOZ fundamentalist:() -- as whenever Rand is in M. Valley - M.C invites him to educate his team of Google- Anti-SPAM section.

    The question here is ----

Is it Rand Fishkin who is running Google's Anti-SPAM team or Matt Cutts?

Sure - Matt has all the rights to listen to SEO/SEM experts to formulate his policies so as to run the most important aspect (Yes Google is the BOSS--of Google's core business ARM:rolleyes:) of WEB2.0

Sergey & Larry should put Rand in charge of Google's anti-spam team instead of Matt as by the way Matt is acting (inferior to Rand!).

It has been more than 2 years that I became involved seriously with the web. And I am a trained teacher by profession ( education blog) -- and just few hours back I did a post on importance of psychoanalysis in education where I said -

    --

Similarly - Google is just a normal company ---------

What I mean is the WEB is a democratic platform where people can do whatever they want to do ( except of course criminal acts against humanism and against International laws laid out by International Court of Justice ) -- and I firmly believe in Adam Smith's FREE Economy and his views against Monopoly.ld not be allowed to be the only agency to decide how the WEB should behave/look-alike.
In the present FEE-Market-Economy, Google is doing nothing wrong -- just trying to expand its business scope and making sure that it is ahead of others.

But what are people facing at???

It is the job of the respective governments to formulate a regulation for the web just like they have anti-monopoly regulations on the ground!

What I am arguing here is purely from academic point of view. So pls excuse me if - I am off-topic or out of sync with this thread.:(

A few of my sites went from N/A to PR0 and a PR1 site went to PR0 so there was some kind of update. Not good to see my PR going down but I expected it as I lost the only important backlink I had to the site.

Rest of my sites haven't changed and quite a few are still N/A so I don't think this was a major PR update.

There was a minor PR update a couple of days back. Several of my sites showed increase/decrease in PR.

Wow, 3000 bucks, don't you think there was a better option? And if you paid for links or had link builders work for you, in general, google likes quality links. I would say spend 1 hour per day yourself on promotion. Directories, QUALITY link exchanges etc. Just my 2 cents though.

One more suggestion, instead of using $3000 to let some Indian guys working for you I would suggest to spend such an amount on promoting your link exchange page on Google with keywords like 'link exchange' or even better f.e. when you have a hosting company 'host link exchange', 'host link wanted', 'host link request', you get the picture.

$3000 is nothing when promoting your site online (thats a few links & months worth of adwords if your lucky)

If ya got it to do, then spend it .... if ya dont then chase your own tail and complain like the others ;)

Though i wouldnt be spending for PR but for traffic as that leads to sales

    @jhnrang

Having a bad day...:p Im still trying to figure what your going on about :D
