PR is important or Alexa Ranking?

All I know is they are all very popular and very famous.
You can't buy them just with a penny.

 

Real traffic and Serp ranking more important than the pr and alexa rank.

Alexa traffic shows your site traffic so i think it is more important.

PR just show your site is linked from many other sites. It's harder to up the PR. but it's not really important. high PR with low real traffic is also nothing.
Alexa just show to how much traffic come to your site and it's easy to fake. (surfing, autohit,use alexa toolbar and auto surf, etc)

the important thing is the google analysis screenshot.

 

WRONG, Alexa traffic rank shows statistics/traffic of people who are currently using the Alexa Toolbar or Sparky for FF...

Even though it could give an estimations but could be manipulated easily

 

Are we just talking about the credibility or the value of the website? I usually ignore PR and Alexa when checking credibility of the website and just look at the content and the kind of sites that are linking to them. I also use copyscape in order to make sure that the site is not just another spam site that copies another website.

i can say that Google Pr is more important then Alexa ranking. Alexa ranking is based of site regular update. But Google SERP is based on Pr. Google crawl sites according to Pr. So keeping all points on mind i will Run after Google Pr.

 

Both aren't that important anymore because Alexa can be cheated and pr doesn't really mean a large amount of traffic to your site.

IMO, Alexa is better since its calculated based on your traffic and that's what you want.

 

Alway put your concern over the PR. high PR will get you the high alexa ranking. Bcoz high PR can give more traffice.

 

Both the rankings measure different aspect. PR is for quality of website, Alexa ranking is for traffic. though PR takes into account traffic, but that is just one of many millions of variables used to calculate PR.

The whole focus of you is to build a great content, then go about doing links exchange as well work up on forums n communities, this combined effort would hike up ur PR as well as lower your Alexa Ranking. You can even think of outsourcing this to the companies who are specialized in this work, it would surely help..

Well it's very simple for you. If you are making a blog to sell Links or want to sale your site letter, then PR have edge on Alexa. But if you made site for sharing information alone then both are useless.

 

Alexa ranking is not accurate always.
Having high PR is tough
Your site can have huge traffic with not significant alexa ranking. Care alexa if rank < 100,000 else not
You can have low PR but huge traffic and revenue. PR just depends on links to your site (with some other factor)
