Yes you read the header right ;)

    PR
    Press Release

It has been around for years (way before anyone else picked up & used the same initials)

And we spent over 900USD on the PR Press Release

Now 90 days on the results are still coming in

We have seen the XML/RSS Feed picked up over 42,000 times

    and

We have received Headline Displayed on over 13,000 WebSites

    Great Investment:cool:

And a big thanks again to Jenn who wrote the PR :)

We had great success during our PR campaign for 36Towns back in June. We had people calling in and requesting to republish our press release on their websites. Good PR campaign = great spike in traffic and revenue.

You don't have to spend so much its just that we do them frequently and we know that the more you spend the better the results

But they must be compiled professionally and that is why we always get Jenn to write the PR

    Keep up the good work.

    Thanks Brian

Yeah i imagine the distribution may add to a bit of the total cost too, depending on where their placed.

Ive written articles in the past, but never a press release, my writing skills are not at that level so i agree that it is a better choice to go with the professionals for that.

    Lol- Pete

I got confused for a second with the thread title. But yes- you are correct - PR is always good, creates the buzz and gets you new leads.

Well Done BG, it seems your version of PR has some good PR ( public relations ) benifits as well.

No pun intended Pete how would this make a big difference when at the moment the third party you are reffering to takes control. Spending good amount of money would not be a great idea as most look for something else, Page Rank. To rank in top keywords for a site.

    Press Release?

I am a freelance journalist by occupation and many of the things in the release made me suspicious but my job is to be nosy. The release looks good but when you do checks to see legimacy of the next big thing for us freelancers you see that the domain is registered in the UK, the contact tel number is in the philipines same as finance director? You need to be a registered company to be a financial director? I never found any company registered under this name. Moral of the story, if you make something out to be bigger than what it is you are going to get looked into and therefore must be accurate in your press release.

Jaboora, I don't know much about registrations for UK businesses, but I did a little bit of digging on my own. I'm not sure if it does or not, but perhaps the info on the contact page answers your question about if / where the business is registered (again, I'm not sure if it's what you were looking for). :)

Good catch dhruv. I haven't logged into PRweb personally in quite a while, so perhaps they mention it clearly in the posting process (although I don't remember seeing it in the past). I contacted Joe Beaulaurier this morning with the suggestion that they look into it (and if they can't remedy it sitewide, to at least make it clear(er) during posting about the links they automatically make live), so hopefully they'll be able to fix the issue on a large scale. :)

4 addresses :) is it neccessary? must complicate things with correspondance and reaching the correct office.

It says that Suite #2 is for a company called Hawaii's Best Inns not City Journalist Directory

    It says 102, Visunee Mansion
33/5 Soi Nai Lert is for a company called D Management and Consultancy Ltd

    Drake Chambers
    P.O.Box 3321
    Road Town
    Tortola
British Virgin Islands says its for Shonstar Limited, a holding company.
