PR in Member Profiles

Being new to forums, I never realised there were so many little details involved.

I just noticed that different member profiles have different PR. I am assuming this comes about from number of posts (and how strong the thread becomes).

Is this right ? I am assuming its intentional too.. Does anyone actually really use this feature to benefit them at all ? I know it contains your sig etc.. and every little bit helps.

 

Figured, well whilst everyone is playing silly ranking reps.. Im going for that one.
Ill race you, I know you have a headstart and an advantage, but why not

First to PR6 wins..
No existing sites (new sites + links allowed only)
No coop
No spam or junk

No, look carefully.. you have 2 urls for your profile... the actual name links to the real page (pr). click the "view public profile" then click the tiny "view profile" breadcrumb on the top left. You have a PR4 happy now ?
