PR dropped from 5 to 0

    Hi all,

In Webmaster Tools, Page Rank says: August- Data not available at this time.
My PR shows 0 in all Datacenters. My traffic is still there and I did not lose some of my keywordlistings. We have September now and still no change. Going on 6 weeks that my site is PR 0.

I haven't updated my blog as regular as usual, but I still don't understand why my PR is 0. If I would be sandboxed then I wouldn't show up in the index right?

Has anybody experienced anything like that before? A drop from 5 to 0 is very significant isn't it? I used to be a PR 6. I hope somebody can explain this to me and calm my nervs . I'm asuming the next PR update is in November? Will it take that long to get my PR back?

At least it doesn't say PR 0 in webmaster tools, it just said Data not available at this time. It could have been that my site was down during PR update
    but I doubt that.

Any suggestions or explanations would be appreciated.

    My Site is:

They might be updating the site. I would not worry if you still get the traffic who cares what Pr site is.

Still 6 weeks PR 0? I would asume a update would not take so long.
I just checked my backlinks and estimated PR is 5 current PR not available.
It is just that other blogs are contacting me and asking why I am a PR 0 and some of them even removed my link.

Just not good for business overall. Does anybody know when the last PR update was?

    This is soooo frustrating :(

I guess I will just have to wait it out. What else can I do anyway..LOL

It can be due algorithm change.

Also the back links are mostly from adult sites that don't have much PR.

    Can that be the reason?

Ouch! That has to hurt! I have one site that was doing like 25,000 uniques/day and one server error for a day and my traffic drops l;ike a rock. I feel ya. Although the PR stayed the same, in my case PR had little effect over my traffic. I had and still have PR2 on that site but indexed 26,000 pages. Anyway, hope it goes mack up and all get back to normal~

It is probably temporary. If it continues for two or more days, then you should become alarmed.

personal thought: Google goofed up big time..
They were trying to do something they don't know how..
The only thought is to kill link sales and link buying...
The problem for them they don't even know what to do...

I went from PR 0 to PR 6 in a very short time, my site exists since December 2006. I had some very good backlinks from other celeb sites.

Then my PR dropped to a PR 5. Now a couple weeks ago it dropped to 0, and I only found out as a other celebrity blogger contacted me and told me he was going to remove my link as i have dropped to a PR 0.

I was checking all kind of stuff today, and I did see some adult sites linking back, but I also still have a couple PR 7 and Pr 5 and 6 linking back to me.
It said estimated PR 5, current PR not available.

Also some of my pages seem to be dropped from the index, but I'm still there.
My hot keywords from Page 1 are still there. For now at least..

Oh , I had a bunch of backlinks from Digg and Netscape, high PR links from Netscape, and they banned my site for some stupid Paris Hilton Pictures and videos..Oh well...

That still wouldn't cause a drop to 0.

All I know is that this situation sucks...really...

I think their is something going on with google b/c i had a PR in the range of like 3 to 4 and now its at 0....

but it really doesn't matter to me, i'm still getting steady traffic from google. I'm still in the top 5 with the keywords that are affiliated with my site

from your own explanation, it seems that it is mainly due to the fact that you got banned on Netscape
