    Hi

I have two websites which were PR6 for almost one year. Now both are PR4. I used to sell some links and make money. Now since the PR has dropped, no one will pay a handsome amount for backlinks. My income has dropped almost 50% as my only two sources were Adsense and link sales.

The type of sites I have affiliate marketing does not make much money. I make $3 to $4 from Amazon books.

My question is , generally when PR drops do you just expect and come to terms that income is going to be around 50% of before. ?

I still have good SERPS due to strong content and traffic and backlinks are increasing.

Do you have any suggestions for increasing the income levels ? My sites are niche, one is related to drupal and another to software certification, I am not sure what affiliate programs will fetch me money as most of my traffic is not from USA.

Please advise based on your experience:confused:....

Too many ads in sites might cause your PR to decrease.

I read somewhere. ONe bog with two many ads and irritating pop ups.

    Got PR 0 from PR4
