I really hope that this is temporary. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

Man... I guess the best way to deal with this is not to deal with it. Work on marketing bits, if you care too much bout PR this will likely happen to you. -- really disappointed now with PR update

that's good decision man, people always think on improving PR and not concentrate on marketing. Well said naz :)

Well only thing permanent is change - so don't worry with the fluctuations, Google does keep changing algo's to define PR and you may get back to your original or higher.
For the moment, forget current and focus on future page rank!

btw - I had positive impact with the recent changes, 2 sites moved from PR1 to PR2!

Any change in PR is permanent, unless you do something to change it again.

SERP is more important than PR, so focus on improving your SERPS and forget PR.

High PR doesn't mean high sales, you have to increase the convertion rate!

2 to 0 is not good. Change your site back if you did content changes. If your link building it better not be with a link farm. That will get you a ZERO every time.

Does anyone really still use google PR, they admittedly don't put any tools out there for you to use so much anymore because they don't want you to circumvent their algorithm, etc. I have PR 0 but I'm still ranking on page one for many competitive terms. I used to have pr 4 but I ranked worse then, I happen to know it doesn't matter anymore what the thing tells you on several sites.

I just found out that my old domain which im using to redirect to my youtube acc has PR4. most of the backlinks are from the my "used-to-be" PR2 blog. now my blog is PR0 and the old domain got PR4.

Please give us your example. Pagerank is just a measure of how Google rates a site. Look at the keywords web design or ant other competative keywords. The higher the pagerank websites are at the top. Content is king and Google rewards for good contents. If your site is a 0 something is wrong.

IMO, PR is very important, but not the most important for a site.
we need to focus on other aspects.
but if it happended, then face up to it,
cheak out both the content and links.

Don’t be obsessed with PageRank. It is just one isty bitsy part of the ranking algorithm. A site with lower PR can actually outrank one with a higher PR.
