PR does not seem to increase

Hi

I am maintaining a site that offers shopping cart templates. The contents are mostly images. The PR is in PR5 for quite some time now and I want to increase it to PR6 or PR7. I have done all link building method that I know but the PR seems stuck in PR5.

What do you think is the problem why the PR5 did not increase? Or can you give me any suggestions on what to do with the site so that the PR will increase?

Heh yes, just wait for PR update. Actually good updates ranking for themselves daily or weekly, but the official update (for the all users) is done once of 3 months

 

As my opinion, when you wish to get PR6 then you have to get the PR7 backlinks for your site and so do if you want to get PR7 you have to get PR8 backlinks.

When you already get that, then you can pray to get the major update pagerank ..

 

Just because you're constantly building more links doesn't mean you're not losing old links, this is one reason your PR hasn't gone up in the last few updates

 

just need to wait for the update of google PR.
maybe at that time you will find your website is PR8,hehe ~
but now PR is not as important as before.

 

Keep on building links on high PR websites also try to exchange with PR6+ Websites.

Keeping on building backlinks from higher PR sites or some so-called authority sites, IMO.

 

It has been a long long long time no PR updating already.
My friend told me some PR DCs maybe down.

 

It is not easy to get into PR6 or PR7. By the way, Already 3 months that the PR not being update, maybe your site can get higher PR on the next update

Patience man, it will take time. In the meantime I will recommend you to get more quality backlinks.

 

PR6 or PR7 is not an easy task, from last some year, one of my site too got stuck on PR5. I also done all of link building parts and waiting for the google PR toolbar update for now.

To get PR 6 or 7 you should get PR 7 and PR 8 links. Are you sure you have them?

 

Correction everyone: Google hasn't updated it's PR in nearly 4 months.

May 27th was the last update and this was nearly a month before summer officially started, summer is officially over and we still haven't had an update.

 

Pr 6 and pr7 will take a very long time to achieve unless you have very high pr sites linking to you. If you are only getting pr1's pr 2's and 3's to link to you it will take a lot of them. Pr4 and pr5 will help a bit but you will most likely need many of them too. Good luck and keep plugging away at it though don't give up.
