PR Building Help

Hiya

I have a forum and its been around for 4 years and is very popluar. I currently have over 12k members and over 400,000 posts.

There is about 60,000 uniques a month however i have PR of 0 or 1 and alexa ranks me well over 500,000 with inaccurate data.

Google has indexed over 68,000 pages yahoo and msn are all simlar. Each month there is over 4 gb of SE bot traffic alone.

Anyway its a worldwide forum but mainly US based.

I need some advice on getting this ranked and respected as it should be. I cant mind were i seen this but it said i only have 255 backlinks.

Anyway i would prefer to pay someone that really knew what they were doing and talking about to help promote this forum properly. Can anyone recommend someone that is on the ball and trustworthy or should i be posting this on a freelancer website?

There are more than willing member to help promote the site so i have an army of works willing to help.

Any info you can share would be apperciated.

it's very strange, with all your data, you should be a 6...

when you search google with your criterias, in which place do you appear? if you have a good position in SE, then a bad PR would not be an issue...

can you state your link?

Can nobody come up with a suggestion? I mean had several pms and gave them the url but heard nothing back.

It would be cool if someone could recommend a person i should be talking to about this.

 

The first thing I would do is research some SE Optmization on my own, then go to my site and find out why the PR rank isn't a little higher. Are your keywords and meta tags where they should be? The more you know before hiring an SEO expert, the better off you're going to be later, because some of them will just take your money. You're doing right by asking for referrals, but you could also do well to contact some of your competitors based on keywords, and if they have a high PR rank, ask them who they would reccomend and why. Good luck... I can sense the frustration.

Without seeing your site (always supply it), I will make a guess that you do not get full credit for all the pages that have been created.

Therefore check out the site for broken links or PR feedback issues.

I always add a link in my copyright notice to the domain url. This forum does too.

 

Any reason you don't want to post the URL?
