PR at qelly.net

    Hi, I am just confused many sites like qelly.net has a PR6 or higher without even a single page indexed in google?.

    Can someone teach me this secret.

    Look at the cached version of the page - qelly.com (which is a PR6).

    Their PR is coming from a PR7 texas edu link. PR is determined by backlinks only. Toolbar PR is always a look at the past and no one knows what the PR will be with the next update - however, it appears this was an expired domain that was recently purchased so you are probably looking at old PR that is not going to last (the inner pages I saw are showing no PR).

    Not sure you're looking at the same thing - qelly.net is displaying PR probably from a previous redirect to qelly.com The toolbar PR is spoofed. Look at the cached page for qelly.net it is showing qelly.com

    qelly.net does not have a PR7 Texas .edu link

    We owned Qelly.net till early March 2006, for our search engine. As someone already suggested, actual PR would be represented by the next update.

    New owner (emily) seems to be honest about the PR, instead of just claiming the privileges.
