Ok guys, what do you think...

Got new website, been up for only 2 weeks and im still relatively new to online advertsing. However, spent alot of time manually submitting the site the directories and spent about $70 on pr5/pr6 permanent links. I know it early, but what kind of results can I expect from my efforts? Do you think its worth paying a company to submit the site for me to various directories/blogs etc?
What should be my next step in promoting?

    Thanks guys

I am not sure what results you may get. Some say Google ignores directory submissions for indexed pages. But will pay attention for PR values. Than there will be others who will say that Google doesnt like paid links. Unless its for advertising. Or that Google is suppose to be changing some of their algo.

All rumors thus far. Other than paid links for PR off of Matt Cutts blog.

But I do know that if you pay blogging networks and get into the social networks, it will give you a boost.

You may also look into keywords for your site for Google Adwords, Microsoft Ad center. As well as Yahoo Ad center.

I am sure there are tons of other border line tactics you may use.

i dont know what budget and targets you have with your website. i would never spend money on directories and would also never submit to them manually. (automanually is ok)
