PR is a ranking system assigned by Google based on your link popularity and their value of your importance. SERP is search position for a particular keyword or phrase and is what counts most.

PR means PageRank that is named after Google founder Larry Page. this is mainly toolbar rank where it attempts to show you your site's link popularity. more backlinks you have, higher your pagerank will be in general. you get PR passed to your site from other sites linking to you.

SERP is search engine result page. when you search for something, 10 sites show up on front page, 10 on the second page and so on. these search results are based on SERP ranking that was calculated using the algorithm search engines uses to rank a site.

PR doesn't have anything to do with SERP ranking so go after SERP that will bring you the traffic. PR doesn't bring you traffic or make you money (unless you a a PR link seller).

There is a clear difference among the PR & SERP basically PR stands for Page Rank while SERP stands for search engine results pages according the keyword term searched in the search engine.
PR is assigned after providing seo activities on the website, once the search engine crawlers sense that seo work will assign PR to the websites according that. While SERPs are totally different from them..........

PR, PageRank is a characteristic of a web page as a whole ( in case the web page here is the home page of the website the PR is a characteristic of the website in that case )

while SERP, Search Engine Results Position is a characteristic of your website for for a particular keyword.

You PR is fixed for a webpage or website at a given time, but SERP if different for different keywords.

The Page Rank (PR) is just a vote given by Google. It depends on the number of backlinks and their quality.
SERP is where your site actually ranks for a particular keyword. A higher PR gives you a better chance to rank high in Google.
