I opened my site about 4 months ago.Till now i had maybe 1500 visitors from google searches!Ä° wrote my site name at some forums and some other places and the strange thing:about 500 people came this week from google searches.So i had 1500 visitors in 4 months and 500 from this week.And when i look,most people came from google searches by writing my site name(like www.blabla.com). Here is my question:Is this helping to improve PR (i mean google cares about site searches) or it is not effecting PR?
I think, PR is come from what google can clearly see, thai is a backlink. Google calculates PR of our web pages by using number backlinks and quantity of pages that link to our pages. Traffics from search engine may not effect your PR, but backlink and page quantity of web pages that link to yours do effect.
