I have a couple of twitter accounts. My homepage on 1 is showing PR9?? Can this be right? I have also tweeted up one of my sites and it is showing as a backlink in google webmaster tools - which is also unusual for twitter.

My other ac hoem page is PR0 like it should be.

    Whats going on?

I dont want google owning them. Google is the best out there, but i would like a few firms to be independent. I am surprised they have not tried to buy Firefox.

ha . I don't think Firefox is a company that can be bought. Is it part of the Mozilla Foundation? Can you buy the Smithsonian Institution? I think Google should buy eBay and give up on all their overlapping crap products like Google Base and Checkout and Google Voice.

when i read the title of this thead, i got the point that the OP is confused between twitter home page PR and the acute profile PR.

Anways twitter is also nofollow. But i think twitter is great tool for marketing. Just try to market your products there instead of backlink and PR things. At lesat you will get some descent traffic from twitter.

It is just an honest mistake that I am sure made you happy right away, even though it would never help you since it is nofollow.

When I checked it showed my twitter PR as 0. I think it just gliched out from the main page to your home page.
