I also think it's highly overpriced. It is better for rankings to buy a few Pr2-5 links from the same niche websites.
$500 a year is a lot of money. Said that if the site is very much on theme with yours and has been around for many years it could help your ranking a lot, so maybe the better rankings will pay off that $500. Is hard to say, it depends really how much you will be able to monetize the better rankings, in theory if you buy a link is an investment, the hope is that in the long term the link will bring in more revenue that it costed.
Beware from this person ....He removed links after getting money, i am not only the person who have cheated from him, You can see another Red Reputation from other person... Beware all guys..
It depends on how many out going links are on the site and if the site is related to yours. If few OBL and site is related to your niche, $500 is a decent price.
The problem with any links your purchase is just that ... PR drops on the site you purchased from and you've overpaid. There are better ways to obtain links and better ways to build your site's authority. It isn't about getting the highest PR, that does nothing in the long run for your site. Forget the PR game, write your content, promote your site, submit to article directories, and search out your own links. Save your money! Lots of great High PR links available if you want them ... from big named sites as well.
I am sure Google is not stupid and if a site has regular links from other lesser PR sites then gets a PR7 text link, it spells BOUGHT LINK! The site will just be ignored by google and you will have wasted money.
Depends on the link count of the page, and since google recently updated page rank and was a little generous I don't know if it is really worth it right now. It all depends on what you are after.
I think buying links are little risky, article distribution can be a worthy way to create related backlinks, Readers might get inspired if your articles are well written. You also have to be careful that write for people not for search engine. Buying such PR7 link might create bad effect on your Search Engine Ranking, as its strictly prohibited according to Google's search engine optimization guideline. Wish you good luck.
i think that is overpriced maybe about $350-$400 a year because if it get google update an drop that is the risk
If someone is willing to sell a pr7 link for only $500 a year, it will more than likely drop in the next update. ESPN.com is a legit pr7 website, but i can guarantee you that a website like that will never sell a link for $500 a year. I think if you buy it, you dont buy for more then 3 months because the pr will drop in the next update.
I agree, try to purchase 3~6 months rather than 1 year. Freaky speaking, $500 per year from PR 7 site is not expensive, but gotta really check whether it is fake PR or drop domain
