PR 5 Gadget/Tech Website For Sale W/ Revenue!

Discussion in 'Sites' started by Skinny, Jul 9, 2007.

    Hey guys,

My gadget/tech blog (www.gazotto.com) is up for sale. Why? Well, I’ve ran into a bit of money trouble and I also have run out of time to update the site as often as I would like.

I’m looking for someone who shares a love of technology and gadgets to take this thing over.

    About Gazotto.com

This is a 1.5 year old domain that first started in Dec. 16, 2005.

Hosted at: ASO (A Small Orange). I haven’t had any problems with their service. I just paid for a bit more hosting so it doesn’t expire till Dec 28, 07. It runs on a semi-anually billing cycle of $15 or $30/yr. The new owner will have access to the whole hosting panel.

Domain: Registered at Namecheap.com. Doesn’t expire till 12/16/2007. The domain will be pushed to the new owner.

Runs on Wordpress 1.5.2. I haven’t had the time to upgrade unfortunately. The site contains 328 tech articles. These may feature quotes from other sites or have originated from press releases but were written by me.

Images: They are currently hosted at Photobucket.com. The new owner will be given full access to that image account. I was going to shift those images to the hosting account but unfortunately didn’t have the time.

If someone is dedicated to this site it can have a much larger rate of return than I have had. I haven't pushed the link sales as much nor I have I done too much ad optimization.

With some tweaks this site could easily be making $100 a month through both streams.

    Start: $500 > $300
    BIN: $1000 > $700

Once the auction starts it will be closed 48 hours after the last poster.

As for payment I would accept paypal or escrow (Buyer accepts fees).

This will be a multi forum sale so I will keep everyone updated.

And if you need any more info or have questions, please feel free to PM me and I'll get back to you.

    Thanks,

    Skinny

Will you consider lowering the starting bid?
    I'm interested but I'm afraid I can't afford the asking price :(

BIN has been reduced to $500.

I unfortunately will be out but I will get back to anyone that bids at BIN tomorrow for payment and transferring of hosting, domain, and images, etc.

Thanks everybody . . . The escrow process will probably take a few days but I will keep everyone updated as to the status of the sale.

Payment has been received. Domain and hosting has been transferred.

I'm just waiting for a confirmation that everything is okay from marketjunction, but at this point the sale is pretty much complete.

Everything looks to be A-OK. We did PayPal instead of escrow.

Darn that need for instant gratification. :)
