PR 5 Domain.. how to earn money from it ?

    I have a PR 5 domain , http://www.funnystuffplace.com . How can I earn money from it ? I tryied different ways to get cash but without succes . From AdSense i can`t get money because my account is banned :mad:. Pls give me some good ideas.

    So, you can try creating a website on this domain (or hire someone to do it).
    Also, you can try selling links.

    There could be few good adsense alternative, you should check out, also joining few affiliate program could help you to monetize it.

    You can also sell links via backlinks.com . You can get good money if your websites sub pages has pagerank value.

    I would be tempted to sell the domain, it's a nice name and with PR5 you should get a good price. Or maybe you could lease the domain to someone who can monitise it in exchange for a share of earnings?

    I would just load it with more content, let the traffic grow and then sell it. Selling it at present isn't worth it, it is normally best to develop it further and ensure good traffic before selling to reap the most benefits.

    You've got to figure that people are coming to your site to laugh. Secondly, who of us wouldn't love to be the life of the party by being funny. You might sell marketing related to comedy in banner form that teaches people how to be funny.

    maybe you can get an affiliate program on your site and if you aren't satisfied with the income afterwards sell it. You certainly have to grow your traffic!

    It will be hard to sell a fun/jokes related domain name because it is such a low income (average 3 cents per Adsense click) and because there are millions of similar sites.

    What you can do however is setting up a blog and posting funny stories, gossip, etc. One doesn't need to be a genius to do that: Digg and Stumble get loads of dirty fun every day :D

    It just takes time to update the blog.

    And, yes... there are alternatives to Sense - Bidvertiser or Yahoo. However, once you are on decent traffic you will be looking into affiliate marketing instead of contextual ads - it fits a joke site better than anything else. I mean to sell stuff to people: anything - rubber dolls, pink rabbits. Depends on which way your topics lean to ;)
