Will this help my PR 1 site at all? Or will it be a very slight change in my PR ranking. I've just started up a site and i've invested in signing up to 500 PR 4 directories. What other ways can increase my PR rating?
when investing in link building make sure you do some research on the services first. is the link permanent? what kind of link page are they? the homepage could be PR 8 but the link page could never pass Pr 0 in a million years.
Yep make sure you clarify everything...ask directly, 'What PR is the page I will be receiving my link on, will it be no/do follow, and how many other outbound links are on that page.'
make your website a resource .. you will get automatic back links !! Google will kick you of its index if it will caught you buying links !!

I have been doing reciprocal links for sometime and have since the new year been on forums and (do follow)blogs and most recently added a blog to our site. I don't really see the google love for my recent efforts with forums and blogs in regards to PR. Am I doing something wrong. Any suggestions? Most of all methods are only used for getting Higher Traffic, in most of the case the link you are building through above mentioned techniques are nofollow, will not help you to get any PR juice. Start a link exchange campaign, do link exchange with only relevant websites. This will give you better results. Commenting in Related blog will also be a great choice.
A lot of blogs are no follow though right? And back to what i was trying to ask at the start. If i get a backlink on a PR1 site going to my PR2 site will there be any affect at all? Are all backlinks good?
Any link pointing to your website will not create any bad effect. It helps your site some times by sending traffic to it, and some times passing link juice.
Dear follow the link for Dofollow Blogs. Dofollow Blog List and if you are getting any link with out nofollow means your' getting some link juice, means it has some link value in it, and as per the link quality that link juice will pass to your link.
