Once Google notice that you have used Blackhat method to reach PR10 will slap your site to the bottom of the search results.
For example, only twitter have PR 10:

    And your blog:

Easy - oldest trick in the book. It got it's fake PR from being redirected to a PR10 page on a different site - the home page of http://www.coimbra-group.eu/. See the May 23, 2013 page save on archive.org to see the redirect. After the December Google toolbar update, the redirect was removed, so the toolbar will display the fake PR until the next Google toolbar update.

It looks like a automated bot with that posts :D. Actually most of the domains here on DP is fake, therefore there is not many successful auctions, This should be changed.

Unfortunately, you are correct. It's either fake PR, or domains that have a backlink profile consisting of spam backlinks (viagra or fake designer clothes sites, or chinese porn, etc). PR5 domains for $30 (a "real" PR5 domain - one with a good backlink profile, would sell for several hundreds of dollars). It didn't used to be that way.

A couple of years ago a person could find and buy quality domains here at DP. If a person was willing to use their contacts and resources and come up with decent domains, even PR2 and PR3 domains, there would be buyers and such a person could make a name for himself here and make some money. It's nice to have, but you don't need a lot of PR5/PR6 domains to rank. If you get a bunch of good PR2/PR3 domains and set them up as nice sites and point them to a money site, you can rank. But apparently that kind of selling isn't happening here.

Any suggestions on how to tighten up the site will be appreciated over in S&F - lots of sellers find our current need to verify etc onerous but we are prepared to add steps/restrictions etc if they will make a positive difference.

As for the likelihood of a PR10 being sold through any forum - it's just laughable.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with "S&F" - is that part of this DP forum or something else?

I understand newbie buyers not getting it (and that's why I point out these fake domains - I won't fall for it, but I don't like to see people get ripped off). Hey people new to buying domains - there are only about a dozen or two PR10 domains *in the whole world*! None of them will ever be for sale!

Now that PR is defunct it doesn't really matter but I would be interested to know of any PR10 sites that aren't household names. Sites like CNN, eBay, NYTimes and Google have serious clout so I guess they'd be up the top of the list. Your domain, not so much I'm afraid.

And does a site that uses "cek" instead of "check" have any credibility?

sarah, not everyone will understand everything. for example, when there is someone buying this domain, it means he has a higher knowledge then you, and when he decided to buy something for sure he had understood the direction of the goal in the purchase. many things that we can not understand in this world, not just the online world sarah. And you as one of the administrators of this forum, what can you accounted on this forum? I mean, this domain has been bidded by @Md Ziaul Haque but until now there was no response from him. then, how strong this forum can satisfy the members ? or this domain buying service there is just joke only here ? every person who has decided to do something, he should be responsible until the decision was completed. please this is resolved soon sarah. this your responsibility...many Thanks

If your friend Mohammed has higher knowledge than me then he won't be afraid to bid.
And you are right, there are many things I don't know about but fake PR is something I do know about.
And logic too. If PR was still relevant, and this really was a PR10 then
    a) we'd all have heard of the site
    b) you wouldn't be selling it for $4k

The domain buying service is not a joke, but you certainly are having a laugh.

BTW I thought you were an article writer? your post was really hard to read.
