    Hello!
I wonder if registering site on directories PR0 is good or bad? That is, have more positive or negative side?
I think that registering site on directories PR0 may sound more natural to search engines, that has not only high PR links, am I wrong?

Yes any link is better than no link. That information can be found all over the web as millions have asked that question in the past :)

There's nothing 'natural' about being in a directory, in as much as, they don't go out and add sites they recommend, the webmaster adds them - nobody adds a site they're not connected to. That being said, it won't do any harm, but a PR 0 directory won't get crawled very often, so it could be months before Google finds the backlink.

If the directory is a automated link farm, stay away. If they do manual reviews and the quality of sites is good post. Just make sure you find the best category that matches your website.

For immediate links - In general PR0 directories have only a small percentage of their pages indexed in Google (who cares about other SEs?) so your listing in a PR0 directory may not be on an indexed page and thus will do you no good.

But: some percentage of PR0 directories live and prosper, resulting in their indexing improving and your link getting indexed.

It's good, if you can index the page your link is listed on. I.e. backlink the backlink ;)

I think links from directories are no good at all. They can, in fact, harm your ranking. As far as my experince goes, few quality one way links is all a website need to get itself on top of SERPs. In my link building campaign, I only use one way link exchange, Article Marketing and forum posting. I don't use directory submission at all.

all things that comes free are god. Pr o directories will not stay as PR 0 in future. It will get PR 1 or 2 in near future. so if you will get approve in these Pr0 directories , it will get you good benefits when it will become PR 2

So it appears that you don't think that links from directories are one way links?? Strange. Directory links are IMO sort of like a gun - if you know what you are doing its a very valuable tool and if you don't it can be a disaster.

I would very much like to see examples of proper directory links harming your rankings. I have perhaps 50 clients sites ranking well on the back of directory links among other links.

As far as you experience goes can you show us some examples of sites ranking for competitive keywords with only a few links (say less than ten?)

And can you please tell us what you mean by one way link exchanges? Perhaps you mean reciprocal links?

I had hundreds of directory submissions before I knew anything. Then when I called an expert at spent $300 an hour for help, I mentioned all my directory submissions as an attempt to SEO my site. As we were looking at my webmaster tools inbound links, his question to me was "How is that working for you?". With 0links showing and 10 hits a day in analytics, it wasn't working. I wouldn't waste a minute on directory submissions, unless it is DMOZ, or dir.yahoo.

You are right one way links to a site in your niche is a good thing. Just keep building links and the traffic and rank will come.
    Cheers
