Pay per post dot com is dead and SMorty is dead as well and i am left with a few 'worthless" blogs. How can we now make money when this feature is dying as we speak?

I earned decent money on getting paid to blog but now i earn 0$. What r u blogs owners going to do now?

Monetize your site with something like Adsense.

Or, you could find another Pay Per Post service, like PayU2Blog.

Or, if any of your blogs have PR, sell links on them. Or sell advertising spae.

Or, just sell the blogs outright.

Remove PPP and smorty banners from your blog, ad adsense, join v7n contextual, linkworth, buyblogreviews etc. Also try to make your blog a quality blog and directly approach the link buyers in webmaster forums.

    Hope it works!

The problem is people from a certain part of the world (I don't want to name them as I might get banned) have abused the system.

There was a time where people were earning nice money but these people got greedy and tried to cheat and now everybody with a low PR (0, 1, 2) blog is going to suffer because of the greed of a few.

It is not just paid to post, this has been happening with similar projects for years.

I'd rather people did not tell people about the few good networks left because they will be targeted by these cheaters as well.

They are not dead .. Even though most of the offers are for only higher PR blogs but there are offers for lower PR blogs as well. In my PPP opportunities I can easily see 16 open opportunities for me. :)

How come you are not able to earn ..

Ditto here. I hate to see this come up in the search engines "PPP is dead." It is most definitely alive, even thriving.

Not sure if thats aimed at me.

If so take a look at the post I linked too.

They pay you for displaying the ads at a fixed amount per month. Clicks are irrelevant.

that is what I've started to do on my blog...stopped the consulting because it was too stressful and competitive. Started promoting products and services that have affiliate programs.

I promote only what I've bought and paid for myself or that I would buy myself. To me, in order to be a successful affiliate marketer, I have to truly believe in the product. It's competitive too..but once the initial hard work is done, it turns into automated income that slowly builds (or can) to something terrific.

If you can communicate, you can market anything..the key is in your words..so if you like to blog why not make money promoting stuff you really like and use yourself?
