PPC is Pay Per Click, link building is SEO, different ball game all together.

How much traffic with PPC depends on keywords, QS and a ton of other things. Good Campaign will bring you lots of sales, bad campaign none, zero, nada sales.

If you are just starting out then stick to seo stuff. PPC will burn a hole in your pocket if you do not do it right. I speak from painful experience.

It is better to learn PPC before spending your valuable money. Most people think
that PPC is a get quick rich scheme.

Link building lasts. PPC lasts only as long as you shovel out the money.

PPC is a lot faster, and I think easier. All the SE's always seem to change the rankings for no reason and it can take a while to build up your links. If your visitors find some reason to bookmark your site then you have it made, or if you can get them to sign up for a mailing list.

I'm done trying to rank in the SE's.

But this is just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
