traffic from my ppc campaign is showing up as non-paid traffic in analytics, it haven't made any special configurations - any ideas?
Is it adwords? To get it listed as paid, you need to either link your adwords and analytics profiles (http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55507) or do a URL tagging . First option is preferred as you can also get cost data on to your analytics account. If it's any other PPC network, use Google's URL builder and use URL tagging for analytics. Use medium as cpc to get it treated as paid traffic.
thanks, i have fixed it now, was using URL tagging and had utm_meduim set but missed off the utm_source - ooops!
in short, all search engine traffic is classified as non-paid (aka, organic or natural search) traffic unless campaigns are specifically tagged to show up as paid.
