Hello everyone! I have a quick question. If I run an affiliate site - can I run PPC to it. I am not 100% forsure on this. Could you advise me. Because if I can, that would help me out alot. Thanks -ppcnut
I would like to offer a warning, please do your research on ppc advertising and keyword selection. You can lose alot of money real fast with ineffective ads and never get a sale...trust me, i did it. Start slow and do your research.
PPC and affiliate sites work great together - but be prepared to test, analyze, repeat A LOT! There are some great opportunities out their, but it is not something you just turn on and walk away from. Becuase you can get daily data and correlate that exactly with your spend, it is, IMHO, much more scientific then SEO. I can accuratley know exactly how much traffic I can buy, how it converts, etc. As others have said - start slow! Also, I find it best in the beginning to work with a product you understand. It makes initial keyword research easier before you spread your Internet Marketing wings.
That will be no longer true soon, I am afraid (concerning Adsense): http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=3623543
I think you can..I have been doing it with no problems. I have posted FREE YAHOO LINKS on my website which will help.
It is allowed but you need to compute your potential profit on that arbitrage. How much do you stand to gain for each sale of your affiliate product? How much are your potential PPC competitors paying to be listed on the first page? it's useless going on PPC if you will just be listed on page 3 up. Then see if you can make a profit on the usual ratio of 1-2 sales per 100 clicks, (plus or minus depending on the product and other factors). Best of luck, Ismael
Guys I recently started PPC for CJ affiliate programs. CTR is pretty good however I am bit nervous as CJ is showing my clicks made in performance report but no sale. Does anyone know how often CJ updates its transaction report.
