Where are you at? If you're in the US/Canada or get traffic from those places you might like to try WidgetBucks. They've had some negative publicity but their payments have picked up again recently. They pay by PayPal on a NET45 basis (if you reach their $50 min payout that month). I don't remember them asking any personal details so age shouldn't be a problem.
You could try Search-Simple I've been using them a couple weeks now and it's not too bad. I don't recall them asking for an age when I joined and they pay to PayPal on Net 30. Link to them is in my sig if interested. 61 clicks 8.88 earned 0.146 average per click

I don't think you get an email until they either approve or deny your application. I could be wrong though.
