PPC targeting and budget....Any ideas????

    Over the past year I have created my first website. Ok, I didn't do any of the work, but the concept was all mine. Anyway, I will be launching in the next week or two and I'm trying to determine how much I should put into the PPC, in addition to some banners on specific sites.

    My site is an event ticket site so I can target anything from NASCAR to Broadway to the NFL market, and my developer suggested that I start with the following in terms of PPC:

    $300/mo: Adwords
    $150/mo: Yahoo
    $150/mo: MSN
    $150/mo: Banner Ads

    Is this enough? Too much? I really have no idea. I will be putting my site in the review section at a later date, but for now any information from anyone with familiarity to the ticket market would be great.

    In my opinion, I would switch the Adwords and Yahoo amounts. I seem to get a better conversion at Yahoo.
