Hello, I am starting to offer PPC advertising for accommodation businesses.I would like to know what payment method is being used in PPC advertising? Monthly payment - I will send them invoice every month for the click that have been made. Mass payment - they will buy like 1000 clicks and pay me right away.
Most companies are prepay, what platform are you going to use to track your clicks and prevent click fraud?
I am going to use Google Analytics to track clicks. I have not thought about this fraud thing yet. I want to be sustainable business and I want to offer quality ads but yes I have to agree that someone else can harm my trust with making false clicks. Any suggestions how to prevent click fraud? I will develop this thing: If lots of clicks are done with one IP address then I would not count them.But more?
If you are selling advertising, you need to be using an actual advertising management platform. There are plenty of options out there but selling based of google analytics data is not going to do it. Are you going to manage advertisers and publishers? If so then you are basically starting an ad network and you will need a platform that supports this... Are you offering the advertising only on your site? Look into platforms that are compatible with whatever you are using to manage your site like Wordpress has several plugins that do this.

I am not offering banner ads, I am showing lots of information about accommodation businesses (rating, prices, most popular etc) and I offer businesses possibility to get their business top of the list (like adwords). I only charge money if someone visits their website. They can also see click what have been made on their Google Analytics. Yes, I am offering advertising only on my site. I am not starting an ad network.
Sorry for the delay I was away... even a free software like www.revive-adserver.com is better than what you are thinking... advertisers can track their clicks... but it sounds like you might look into a review site software. That gives you the ability to have customers pay to get a sponsored listing and the software will provide them reports.
