Can you have PPC on Twitter and if so how would you go about this? I recently opened up a twitter account i have 27 followers in 1 day so that is ok i am still getting more as you read this but if you could put like kontera deal although i wouldnt use them and if i did this what would be best way to get people to click it.
Well, you can promote your affiliate product on twitter.. Because at twitter you can post various links.. including affiliate and advertisements.
Actually...I do have one ad in particular that I use on Twitter. It's a text link, and I get .10 per click with it. I've also got just about 3k followers (on one of my accounts), so yes, it IS possible. But you don't want to spam people, so you have to keep your account real. I use it for conversation as well. You can't use Kontera on Twitter because you have to use a script to generate K's links. You might check out SocialSpark for some social media friendly CPC campaigns. My main link is through another network, but they only have the one link, and I'm milking the crap out of it...lol. Actually, they have another that pays .15 per click, but it's not converting for some reason. So yes, you can use CPC on Twitter, provided it's allowed by the affiliate network. Also, Magpie has some per-click ads in their network. I'd recommend using them. I've set mine up only to do per view and per click ads. I usually get over 9GBP per link that they post on my Twitter acct.
I know you didn't just try to jack this thread! I bet you did a search for PPC and thought you'd spam us with your ad, right? *snicker*
Is it really possible? Haven't tried it yet but base on some of the information here, it is possible. Oh well, I need to know how I can maximize my use of twitter to earn.
You cant put adds on twitter. But they do provide an API using it you can import contacts from twitter to your website.
What??? It is Possible Checkout my @RealEstateHunt on Twitter!! I know a Program that does the same with Adsense, Ebay, Clickbank, and Adult FF!!
I think it's because lots of people seem to be confusing CPC ads with CPA. Of course, I use a CPC that I found in a CPA network, which isn't exactly the same as using say a link from Google AdSense. You can promote affiliate links and some CPC depending on the network that you get the ads from.
Excuse me for not being explicit. Promote Clickbank products. It's free to make an aff link and easier to tweet it. The conversion rate. (followers/sales) is 1 to 10.000.
I just got thinking about this, and both SocialSpark and Magpie have some per click campaigns. Of course, Magpie has been kind of slow for me lately...heh, but they do have their system set up to run them. You can enable/disable them in your control panel. For those that promote CB/PayDotCom on twitter, how is that working for you? (I don't want to threadjack, so PM me if you like).
Yes its possible ... but very slow ut passive money.. Also you have to keep your account real with regular visits and chats...
Definitely need to keep it real. On the other hand, I made about $120 last weekend on Twitter, so it's really not slow if you find a good link, have good followers, and push it really hard. Just don't be too spammy with it.
I've seen some PPC on Twitter. One that was annoying. A certain username used PPC links in Twitter and the link kept sending me to a "landing" page where I was supposed to wait about 15 seconds - there was an ad showing during that time - and then I could go on on viewing the real content of the link. That's just rude and might be consider as spamming. I mean, even if you do use PPC on Twitter, you might want to not loose your Twitter followers.
