Go to Elance and advertise yourself. IMHO, it's a thankless but valuable job running someone else's PPC campaigns. So, most people will be very happy if they can find a good PPC manager.

In my opinion a valuable PPC manager would be able to guarantee their work. Why should I give someone access to my money if they are only experimenting with it? I think this is why so many people probably avoid those types services. PPC on highly competitive niche's are not always profitable from what I have seen.

Nonsense. How can a PPC manager guarantee their work?

The only person who can influence the ROI of a campaign is the merchant themselves as they are directly responsible for the copy that is supposed to draw results.

Unless the PPC manager is also doing all the keyword research then they have very limited scope to influence the profitability of the campaign... instead they are in place to optimize the performance of the ads and minimize the cost of them as much as possible.

    Cheers

I am a PPC manager.. as you call it.
My job is to completely restructure the current campaign of one of my clients. That campaign is very much in need of a total revision..
Do i like it? Yes. Does it take a lot of time? Yes. Do i get satisfaction out of it? Yes.
It is very nice to do something you love to do in the comfort of your own home and getting paid a very very nice amount of money and to determine your own hours and in the meanwhile teach my "boss" how to do the things i do.
    Best job ever, period!

Well... you gotta chose someone who knows their game.

Maybe they cost a bit more but I think its best to go with someone who give a guarantee (they may even charge a percentage of managing - usually will)

Go with someone who is experienced and already making money in the PPC marketplace

    Mark ;)

How good are you in pay per click marketing? How much experience do you have, and what work do you have to show as portfolio?

Answer this questions, and I might hire you.

This is an old thread and I know you must have found employment as a PPC manager by now, or you will have starved to death by now. However if you have not found employment yet, apply to my signature.. I have several openings for PPC trainees... but it does not pay much as you can see its a hobby.. so I don't really earn or pay anything.... hee..heee.
