Hello, I am the PPC manager for a medium sized web agency. I am looking to implement some PPC campaign management software. I would like to avoid having to use our developers on this if there is an out of the box solution. I need something that is robust and able to handle many different campaigns and thousands of keywords. I want it to be able to do extensive research and well as monitoring, and issuing detailed configurable reports. I am not looking for a $49.95 download.com item, but I am also not wanting to spend thousands a month. So far I am interested in checking out SEM in a box (I can't post links yet apparently) Does anyone have any experience with this? I would prefer something that is on our server instead of running on a local machine, we use Mac's here. I want to avoid software that is hosted elsewhere. I am not interested in turning over access to our PPC accounts to a third party. If anyone could give me some advice I would really appreciate it. Benjamin
We are testing SEM-in-a-Box on one account and, so far, it has been working very well. I like the fact that you can set it on auto-pilot or have it offer suggestions. It's also the only one I know of that will monitor ad copy and make suggestions to increase revenue. It is based on conversion points and known cost-per-actions, so if you are not that sophisticated this will not work as well for you. But somehow I have a feeling you are.
