I am on a similar journey of marketing affiliates with PPC. Though, not eBooks and ClickBank. I Market financial services like -

1. Payday Loans Lead Generation
2. Health Insurance Lead Generation
3. Auto Loans Lead Generation

Currently making around 100 - 200$ per day profit. I try regularly to do more and more better.

 

Hey, how about sharing that story on how you got there?

 

Keep it up man, honestly if February is just going rough for everyone right now and this all clears up soon, combined with your testing and hard work you'll reach that goal much sooner than you think, here's hoping at least.

I was wondering though who you used for hosting and where you buy your domains from for all of these landing pages you are creating? Any advice there?

It's amazing what you can do if you just focus on what you are already doing... make changes and improvements through measuring, testing and tracking.

By this, I mean improving your adword ads (higher CTR doesn't necessarily mean more sales, so why do most people just try to improve their CTR without testing to see which ad brought in the better prospect who bought more?) and improving your landing pages and site structure to get lower CPC, higher email opt-ins, higher sales conversion.

This is the ultimate leverage because it really doesn't cost you extra... but you get more for the actions you are already doing.

Yeah I agree, I was checking out the clickbank gravity for alot of products and theres a huge drop starting feb 1st. I think I will get to my goal sooner than I thought, and as long as I have the capital for investing I think I will get there in about 5-6 weeks.

Hosting was really tricky for me, I don't have a dedicated hosting yet. I only get around 1k clicks a day, but the clicks are pretty expensive.:\ Lunarpages has always been pretty solid for me. The only problem is their domain solutions, all the domains work out of one public folder(Addon Domains). I actually started out with IXwebhosting, and they had some good bonuses, but uptime was very bad for me. Domains=Godaddy. I have about 15 domains, but honestly I just use 2-3 good domains that I have, and I just add a couple of sub-folders to them for quality score. If it's promoting good and its a keeper, I'll usual go to Godaddy and buy a better domain for that specific market. CTR can improve dramtically just by having the right URL.

Thanks Brian, Yes If you read my posts carefully you'll see that the main reason for my recent success is that I raised my CPC and put up my best converting ads that had low CTR. It is a common mistake a lot of beginners-intermediate make, But it would be nice to have CPC low and CTR high!

I don't really have anything big enough for an update today, My Ads shutoff around 2p.m today and I made about $90. Sunday I'll just ad these days together.

Goal for next week(starting monday). Get more energy! Start setting a sleeping schedule, 4-5 meals a day, Gym 4-5 times a week. Water, Vitamins, and healthy eating. I think I can improve my production time by 2-4 hours a day. I mean I'm trying to get more energy and get my head clear of stress, to start moving along towards my goals. I mentioned one of my goals is this and to buy a new PC. I won't get a new PC and home office setup until I first meet this physical and mental goals. We all know health is a huge deal. Anyone else have these problems and got over stress, feeling drained, and getting better sleep. I did schedule a Chiropracter for Wendsday, and bought all my vitamins. I know this isn't a health thread but if you wanted to know I bought Omega-3, Daily Vitamins with LycoPene, Valerian Root(to aid sleep).

P.S. For those that wanted to know a little on my market research Spyfu has a 3 day Trial For 5-6 bucks.

you can just have 2 different ads going for the keyword and send them to different landing pages. GGL will just rotate. use a different TID for each one so you can see what keyword/landing page the sale came from.

As long as you dont have 2 of your own ads showing up on google for the same keyword you should be right

I promote between 8-10 products, I only make serious money out of 2 of them. I can't exactly say for sure, because each campaign it's a different position I will tell you this though; Usually you should try to stay on page 1, and Top 2 spots are usually not worth it.

Thanks Richer, I will keep you informed, but as you can see from all of my posts, they are really late in the morning. I'm Trying to get on a better schedule to hang with the afternoon crowds.

Thanks jukajee, I think so too, for once in a long while I feel more confident and motivated to start working(even if its the boring tedious stuff). The only time I get a little edgy is now is when I have to wait for my CB check! Don't you guys hate it when they send the check out on the 15th, it never comes on the 16th, then the next day its Sunday, then today it's presidents day!! I'm sure I won't see it till two more days.

Sorry guys on the delay, but I'm back! and pretty srtong too. I only had my campaigns up for 3.5 hours and am up $300 already. One funny thing is that I have 2 sales by the same guy! I feel really bad about this, I'm not sure why he did this, maybe he's giving a copy to a friend, it's def just an accident.

I'll email him if it goes unnoticed.

Besides that, The one big competitor finally left, and I couldn't be happier, the sales are coming back and strong. My check today was kinda weak, only $1,800. After some bills, that's only 10 days of advertising, Minus saturday( I only run my ads 2 hours on Saturday). Next week my check will be around $2700 minus whatever CB takes out. My goal for this week is to make $4,400 of sales. Keep my ads going all the way to the 1st. I'll be on tonight at 1 am. to give you the complete update. By the way when i do finally reach a milestone check(5k, 10k, 15k), you guys can pick anything you would like to see in the picture of the checks.

You got me, i do tend to round my numbers even. It was actually a pretty bad 2 weeks, i believe it was the "2 weeks after xmas" check. It was one of my lower checks, my highest check to date is: $2,474.41, my 2nd will be the next one i get(would have been the highest if i had my current profits from the 1st and not the 10th-16th). I dont mind to attach my last 2 checks, that is, if it worked?

Now too today. I made. drumroll..... $401 and nineteen cents(for GP) Profit!
Pretty excellent day, but as I said earlier, a small piece of that will go bye bye when the guy who order twice figures out that he made a booboo.
but what a good start for this week!. Now I think i'm motivated for the day.

And for those who are going to ask what I did to get such a good profit today, nothing! it was just an extremely good day. I only ran my ads for 5 hours today!( that's when my check cleared.), didn't even run my ads through high traffic time. I actually am still having trouble with one of my products, haven't been making that many US sales, but doing great internationally.

I know I'm slacking on the Opt-In forms, They are proving to be more difficult than I predicted. I am really terrified that they will turn my customers away unless I write the perfect email, and then send them right back to the landing page. Also I started eating better and working out today, only thing i have to change now, is stop waking up when its dark outside!

Besides my daily lessons I feel like I'm missing something today... Looks like I'm going to have to go back and read my thread. Kick me in the head If I slack-off!

Oh just remembered! (Goal for tommorow: Fix why I'm not converting WidgetB in the US!, Also finish landing page and start setting up a campaign for WidgetF, Finally: Need to be careful and make sure I don't spend more than $90 a day, so I can make it through the whole month.
