    Hello, I think PPC is the best tool to increasing traffic and bring a site to PR#1. I got proof of that, because my site is in pr#3 with the help of a real ppc site, where all the users real and not fake. you can apply that site to your site. thanks. add me skype: mohinewu

    PPC is the best tool to increase traffic, and I agree with you in this point, esp. in short period. But I don't think PPC is the best tool to increase PR. To improve the PR is a long term work, and you need to do a beautiful backlink work with high quality links from relevant sites.

    Yea... Sometimes, PPC does wonders for a website. I have seen many websites that were unable to pull organic traffic... But after PPC, their conversion rate improved.

    So, if you have some extra budget, do jump into PPC.
    To a novice, I wouldn't advise to jump into PPC without proper guidance.

    Definitely PPC can give a huge traffic to your website but you can't aspect a good page rank to it.

    I'm not sure if PPC has any affect on the PR of a website, but it can definitely increase targeted traffic relatively quickly compared to SEO. However, sometimes SEO can be done quickly as well, but it's never a sure thing. With PPC, the key is to split test and see what works best as far as conversions and EPC.

    It is bias if Google gives credit for sites who uses PPC and gain PR. Google Adwords can sure somehow help on indexing your site as they send bots to check your site but definitely not to give PR.

    PPc can help to bring traffic to your site but for pr increasing natural link building is best way.

    PPC is used to increase the instant traffic, you will get a good amount of traffic till your PPC is working. This will not help to increase your PR. To increase your PR you have to make good quality of links.

    There is no proof to say that, your PR improve after a PPC campaign. I doubt it actually happened. The proof as you were quoting may have happened because of other factors. PPC may bring in people who will social bookmark and do other Goodthings for your site. A PPC campaign will never get you High PR.
