PPC for beginners: Google Adwords

- Google Adwords is not used for branding, rather cheap/easy and fast side effects. Lots of banks (local and international) use it in order to gain good clients and lots of money, so they have to know something. Lots of hotels around the world use it, so they have to know something about it.

- you can target almost anyone connected to the internet, in most of the countries and find out with Google Analytics what were they looking, what type of internet connection they have and so on.

- find long tails or domains where you can get cheap clicks and gain money with every click.

- buy vouchers or sign up to GoDaddy to gain free vouchers

 

adwords is getting costly ans competitive day by day.now any one with little experience can be a disaster on adwords

 

Adwords is cheap, because is targeted. Competition only means more money to you. That's all.

 

But to get best results you have to pay good price in google adwords.It is not suited marketerers like me ,who has only megre resourses and budgets for marketing.

I tried adwords for a couple of months, and it seemed almost impossible, like so much of internet marketing, but maybe worse. it's like trying to win at that flash game that had traps pop up and kill you every two seconds, i wanna be the guy.

 

No, Adwords is the fine place for advertising. I think in our global internet world their 70% people searching in Google search engine. They can find you when there searching! It will not cost unless they clicking in your keywords of your website. You have fixed your budget per day also per keywords for your sites. It could be might help you! Thanks

 

The one that are making the real money on advertising with PPC is Adwords, not most of us.
If Adwords was such a good advertising platform more people would make money on it.

 

Farasens, are you for real? no disrespect at all, but isn't it becoming common knowledge that adwords is NOT a very good place for peeps to make money? ...unless they have incredible expertise - and I would add luck to that equation.

I guess I'm a bit jaded because I lost money doing everything the pros have said to do.

One thing I have learned is that if you don't have a VERY in depth knowledge of PPC or at least one of 2 things: very high sales conversions or extremely high commissions, you will be wasting time and money with Adwords.

I challenge anyone to prove me wrong and shred apart my argument (not that it is a strong one) - I am open to other points of view on this.

 

I am an adwords beginner... but it would seem to me that it depends on what you are selling or offering? Won't certain goods and services do better on adwords than others?

Please correct me if I am wrong

 

@tjordan yes, I do agree, it does depend on what you are selling. It relies on it to some degree. And it helps also if you make a LOT of $$$ with a certain product too I think. Information products seem to be good things to sell via PPC. Also, if a client pays you big money per lead, it would make sense to have a PPC campaign with a nice free ebook to give in exchange for their contact info.

 

cosmolito: you don't have to be an expert in adwords to make ~1000 dollars per month, just spending 1-2 bucks on it. How? Luck is not a part of the ecuation. You just have to think on it.

Think about adwords as a global market full of people who want, both to buy and sell things. Think about it ;-)

 

so vague farasens - not to be blunt or inconsiderate but why do so many people lose money with it if its just a matter of thinking about it?

 

trust me, I WISH it were as simple as you make it sound... actually, I am having a problem with adwords right now but not that I'm losing money - it just isn't showing my ads! maybe my attitude about adwords is too negative. I'd really like to turn that around if I could

 

It's simple as I make it sound. Really. I won't write everything down because I don't give free informations, but the only thing I can tell is "think!".

Yes, I lost money (a lot), but yes, I got money back from Adwords when I got it. There are tons of countries to test, tons of domains and ideas you can implement to get your money back and much more. Do you have imagination?

Not to say that one cannot be successful with adwords, but is it really simple? especially for beginners?

 

Is really that simple. Just like in your class there were guys and girls taking good marks, just like that there are people making tons of money from start with Adwords.

 

In all first you should have a ideal money making site and perfect services to handle the queries.
