PPC For A Video Site? - Just Been Removed From Adsense :(

    Hiya,

My site www.fight-vids.co.uk just got removed from adsense :( It was making about $15-$20 a day with 1.5-2k uv/daily.

I knew it was gonna happen. Videos of martial arts, along with some cleverly placed pictures to increase CTR.... ;)

I know Im not gonna get that with any other PPC, but anyone here running viral video sites, or martial arts sites, or comedy sites, and got any suggestions?

ATM I've thrown Zango-cash up, but I'm not a fan of some of their other business dealings and would rather find an alternative asap (also, they pay rubbish!)

    Thanks :)

because of using martial arts videos (violence) and because I had placed an ad module in place of a video description (on the homepage). It got a CTR of about 5% :)

    Fair cop really

They regarded martial arts as violence?
My affiliate programs directory has also been banned because on one page it had a word 'pharmacy'. :)
I removed it and emailed back to them. But got 'you can add our ads on your OTHER SITES'.

Anyone complaining they don't pay out is just ignorant. A quick peruse of their terms and conditions reveals they pay NET45, therefore no-one will be paid until the middle of December at the earliest.

You could try AdBrite, but better check their terms on the violence front.

Are you sure its the video? From my understanding they do not like if it copyrighted video EVEN if they come from youtube. Can you copy the letter from them here?

Google Adsense has such a long list of what is not allowed, about 90% of internet content, so I'm always joking it'd better announce what is allowed.
One can have a blog which was initially allowed by adsense and one morning find his account banned, since someone posted inappropriate thread, contradicting adsense guidelines.

you put up Zango even though you admit you don't like their business dealings?

Come on man, have some scruples, I wouldn't touch Zango with a ten foot pole.

We should keep our principles and not deal with companies that we know are running scam like business tactics.

    I agree.

I have been on a few video sites and if they use Zango then I leave them straight away.

On the google front, they posted a few "examples" of violations of their ToS which were just a few thaiboxing matches, kickboxing matches etc. I had quite a high pending balance (>$1000) so luckily all they did is ban this site, but after a few e-mails to check my account is fine and I can still run Adsense on my other sites.

On the Zango front - I was recommended them from a friend who runs FightZilla, but now visiting his site and getting about a gazillion pop ups and redirects I can see trusting his judgement wasn't a great idea...

Zango have an awful name in the adult industry (where I started) with lots of different rumours etc. But like I said, they were the only program I knew of that I could throw up quick to not lose days earnings.

Ive applied with CPX and Kontera, waiting for replies on them.

I've had limited success with Black Eagle affiliate program, but for me PPC has worked best. I'll check out Ad Toll.

    anymore worth checking out?

Sometimes you can earn a bit more from them but most keywords are quite low.
