I wish to know what are the specific excel custom ppc reports a ppc consultant can provide to me and also ppc campaign reports from google.com/adwords free reports from their adwords dashboard, analytics, etcc My objective is to try to keep it simple and not confused on a lot of data I should be breaking my head over as a client that it will allow me to quickly see if the consultant is doing his job or just taking my money 1) What ppc campaign reports can be provided to me from google free tools for adwords adveriters reports 2) What ppc campaign reports from google free tools should i really concern myself and ask and which ones should i not ask for or be concerned with 3) What Custom PPC Campaign Excel Reports Based - can a ppc consultant provide to me as a client 4) What are the most important and only pieces of data that I really need and all the Excess Fat Data Not Included that will make it more confusing and really not needed for me to make good decisions So what is it or the data that I should ask for in a excel based ppc report from the consultant - without the unnecessary pieces of data that will make it confusing for me and only the necessary pieces of ppc campaign data that I really need to determine what is going on with my ppc campaign, if the consultant is working or not, what is working and not to be able to adjust bidding pricing, ads , landing page issues, etccc
1) What ppc campaign reports can be provided to me from google free tools for adwords advertisers reports everything related to your account, for example the conversion report. Below are the main reports one should care about to analyze the account Keyword performance (individual keyword results) Ad performance (Ad copy results) Destination URL performance (Split test result in sort) Ad group performance (Results based on a particuler theme) Campaign performance (overall performence of the campaign) Geographic performance( From where the leads are coming) Search term performanc (the actual keywords which triggered your ads) Now these reports would make sense to an Adword pro only or someone who is good in understanding these data. As a client if you get these reports (thats what most of the companies out there sends to you) you will only confuse and ignore most and crucial parts. Will these details make sense to you? For my local clients, I just tell them how many leads they got from PPC investment and they are happy with it. if something is not going well i explain it and tell them what i am doing to improve it.. No complex reporting stuff. that might not be the case with you but you should ask for report which make sense to you ,not over complicated.
for rest of the questions, i would suggest learn the basics (You already know i guess) and look at the account yourself instead of being depend on the reports. Take a look at live account and see how it is going. if it is not going good ask him what he can do to improve it
Hi You should insist that your consultant has to send you reports that make sense. You need to look for how your account performance is improving. Ask him to include the changes that have been done to your account and the results from these changes.
