I am a novice to the vast affiliate marketing world and I know many experienced members here at DP are hesitant to share valuable information, but I was hoping that you guy(s) might be able to help me out.

I am merchant (publisher) of my own product. I am using google adword's ppc.

On average lets say I spend .50 cents per a click and on a daily basis I get about a 1000 clicks. That is obviously going to cost me $500 for adwords. I have an incredible sales page and my ppc sends people directly to it. It has an optin form to capture emails with incentives. Overall with a 1000 ppc visits a day how many products should I expect to sell; like a conversion rate? 2%, 5%, or what?

I know people will get vein about this question saying sales vary widely, but on average what is a conversion rate for sales to visits with ppc for most cb products?

1 per 100 is what I would go by, but of course it varies by person and by campaign.

If you are making $10 a sale, and you bid $.10 per click then you would need to do better than 1 per 100 clicks as you'd only be breaking even. You would need to either get cheaper clicks or do better than 1 per 100.

one of my products has had 12 sales today and the conversion rate is 1:40
    another product is around 1:90

I think about 1:75 isnt bad and I would be happy with that.

I am selling products as an affiliate and my average PPC conversion rate is 1:20-1:50 - depending on the day. However my clicks cost $0.10-$0.25 - half a buck is a little to expensive for me.

I think a good conversion rate should be %1-4%... if it's lower than 1 - there is a problem... (crappy sales page, NOT targeted audience...etc) So try to get to at least 1% and try to optimize your page so you wouldn't have to pay $0.5 per click. ;)

Another thing to test. See if your page converts better WITHOUT the opt-in form. Sometimes it does. But if you do get a HIGH opt-in sign up rate - then of course, leave the opt in there - you'll sell to them later on.
After all the money "IS IN THE LIST"

    Good Luck,

    Alex

this is my tinnitus product - www.curefortinnitus.com

    yeah not 1:2... but 1:45

I would say over the last 30 days its more like 1:60 - 150ish sales (this is including all the people who have sent hops but not made a sale yet, not just the top affiliates) :)

Swerd I see that you have a "doctor" endorsing your product and it also says creator of. Can you tell me how to find people to do endorse the product, or if you just pick and doctor picture and create B.S. about it him; even if you can refer me to an ebook that teaches these techniques that would be helpful...thanks and back to the thread topic.
