Hello Everyone In the next month or so I will be launching a PPC/CPM Network. I have been considering many ways to get publishers more involved with increasing there CTR, and quality of there traffic by doing the following. Instead of having one flat payout percentage rate I decided to make a scaled rate. Which is set based upon the following. 1.) CTR 2.) Sent visitor bounce rate, and length of visit. Adjust +- 1-10% of CPC share. (Variance of Quality) To keep it simple I will explain to you a little bit about what our network will do. (Please note these might not be actual figures. They are for reference only) CTR = % OF CPC EARNED < 1% = 55% 1 - 2% = 60% 2% - 2.5% - 65% 2.6 - 3.0 - 70% In addition to the variance of quality The variance above is used to help with quality and is not necessarily applied to each and every click. The variance depends on if the advertiser has placed our quality assurance code on their site. I feel this will help us retain long lasting advertising partnerships with our advertisers, as well as publishers. If I explained this rather quickly I do apologize if something doesn’t make sense or if you have a question please feel free to ask a question here or by PM. I'm always here for you guys. My question to you is what do you think about the structure do you believe this type of structure is fare? Thanks a Million Jody Fitzpatrick
That looks like a good formula to start with, provided you have a good reporting system. Please update the post when you launched the network, we will try it out.
@ChrisBa Chris our advertisements will be displayed on approved publisher’s websites only. The approval process although still in the works requires publishers to have absolutely no adult or illegal content (warez, hacks, etc.) on there websites. The type of publisher websites that will be accepted range from Automotive to Zoo blogs. Publishers do not select there website categories rather we do in order to keep advertisements relevant. Publishers can dispute or can request additional unselected categories if they desire. Advertisers on the other hand have the ability to select any category in which there advertisements will be displayed. @ccdesign I'm sorry to tell you this but sadly not. It will be launched soon I promise : ) @fdelixx - ASAP
Hello Everyone Tonight I thought I would ask the advertisers if they would like to see this feature implemented into there account reports. Granted our network hasn't launched we are still adding and taking away features but I thought I would ask it anyways. The feature would give the advertisers the ability to see every single click that occurred on a particular campaign. It would contain the following The Campaign Name – Time of Click – Click IP – Was it paid – The Cost of Click – The Country that generated the click – THE CITY and the State (If the click was generated in the United States – others will be added soon) It would also give advertisers the ability to challenge a click in the event that something got through or system undetected. If a click is challenged we would review the click, and if the click was to be considered fraudulent or invalid we would credit the advertisers account back the cost of the click. What do you think?
@Jack Hey Jack I do understand that, but the % of the click earned is based on your current CTR. No past clicks will be altered its for the moment that the clicks happens. I am considering after a publisher has been a client for a while to give them a flat rate. But I will see how this scaled rate goes. IMO I don't believe that publisher that is performing poorly deserves to earn more per click than a publisher who is really trying to make the most out of the network. If a publisher is really worried about the CTR I would be more than happy to help them optimize there website for the best CTR.
